Lack of Personality and Pure Values ​​in Students

 

 

 

Personality is a person's personality which includes the way of thinking and behaving. Therefore, in the personality of a student there are various types of behavior that are often observed, namely fitness, sentiment, attitude, interest, temperament, belief, ambition, and values ​​found in them. Meanwhile, pure values ​​are good behavior, civilization and ethics of a person in his relationship with other people, nature and God. Pure values ​​should be inculcated in students because these values ​​are the basis of their personality.

                                                            

                                                      

 

 

                                                                

 

The issue of lack of personality and moral values ​​in today's students is caused by the influence of their peers. This is because the influence of peers has influenced the formation of a person's behavior, attitude and life choices in a negative direction, especially among students. For example, students are entangled in self-harming things such as criminal behavior that can affect their future. In addition, the lack of parental education in educating students from an early age is also the main cause of this issue. Parents nowadays give less education because they care more about their own busyness and pay less attention to their children. This can produce students who are rude and selfish. Next, students who are involved in activities that are not beneficial is a factor that causes this issue to be often talked about by the community. For example, students who are involved in a hedonistic culture that is a culture that cares about pleasure without considering its effects such as free association among students. This culture will cause students to forget their true goals because they have experienced self-harmful pleasure.

 

Therefore, as educators, teachers and parents should play an important role in shaping the personality and instilling good values ​​in each student. This is because the formation of a person's noble character comes from an educator. If this matter is emphasized then students with noble and excellent character can be born and can continue the right way of education to the next generation.
